JOE Hailing originally from Australia, Joe decided one day to go to South Africa and, logically enough, ended up in Amsterdam. He’d always harboured dreams of working in several different professions; Historian, Orator, Sheep drover, Long-Distance Marathon Walker, Jester and Professional Jazz-Hand Expert. Unfortunately all positions as a historically based, sheep-loving funny man with stupid hand-gestures were taken (largely by New Zealanders). So Joe became a tour guide instead. This is the best job he’s ever had and he expresses this with an abundance of stupid hand gestures. Try not to look at them for too long.

LEE spent much of her life bouncing back and forth between Canada and the Netherlands. After completing a degree in post-punk ballet, she left her igloo and ventured on a journey of self discovery. After spending time on a socialist commune in Israel, refugee camps in Palestine, a hut in the Siberian wilderness, and a jungle treehouse in India, it finally occured to her that everything she had been searching for was back in the DAM! Lee can usually be found hanging out with her awesome tourguide family, playing a gezellig game of Drag Queen Bingo, or sitting by a canal folding love letters to Ziggy Stardust into spacecrafts and sending them into outerspace...still hoping for a response.)

JULIAN is an Australian guy who followed his heart and moved to the other side of the world for love! Since his arrival in Amsterdam, he has grown to love the city and its amazing history. He is a young, enthusiastic bloke who enjoys playing his guitar, watching football (both Ajax and Sydney FC!) and eating Vegemite toast! Julian thinks he'll never be able to live without a bicycle ever again and cannot wait to show you everything that Amsterdam has to offer!

KENDRA Born into a Reagan-era hunter-gatherer society in Alaska, I had a fairly typical upbringing filled with hunting, fishing, hiking and the knowledge of how to survive if lost in the woods. I began to play the saxophone at the age of ten, inspired by the musical styling of Lisa Simpson. In 1999, I packed up my little Alaskan car and made the forty-seven hour drive south to the University of Oregon, where I majored in classical saxophone performance and dabbled in jazz. Because of my former work as a movie theater projectionist throughout high school,and no further technical experience or aspirations, I took the student job as assistant to audio engineer Lance Miller. After finishing my Bachelor's degree, I left the States to attend the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, The Netherlands earning a degree in music engineering in the spring of 2007. I currently reside, work, and freelance as a performer and engineer in and around The Netherlands.

MASON - Born in Australia raised in New Zealand. After one big night too many he awoke to find himself on a Russian fishing trawler heading for the Arctic. With nowhere to run he endured years of back breaking labor and abuse at the hands of his Cossack captors. finally making escape while docked in France, fearing capture again he fled to the french foreign leigion, although was quickly dismissed because of his refusal to learn French! Wandering Europe looking for a new home he found a quaint city on the banks of the Amstel. The canals of Amsterdam served him well as he lived the life of a pirate, robbing tourists after dark. However, he soon found people far more willing to hand over there cash if he told them stories of the fair city. A tour guide was born!

RYAN first came to Amsterdam to introduce a new shoe I invented made of wood. When I got here I realized it was all for nothing as the Dutch were centuries ahead of my time. Dam it, 1-0 Holland. So I filled up my flying Delorean with plutonium reached 88 mph and went back to the year 1656 and painted a very famous painting, I called it the Nightwatch. That too was already here, 2-0 Holland. Later that day I was burned at the stake for plagiarizing Rembrandts masterpiece. Then I woke up from a really weird dream in a coffee shop. I found 50 bucks. Gold

SHANNON was born in the obscure American town of New York City to Irish and Filipino trapeze artists. She postponed dreams of becoming a pastry chef/theoretical linguist and decided to run away to Europe instead, where a whirlwind affair with Amsterdam unexpectedly evolved into a longterm relationship. She adores the city, and in her spare time can be found scouring its flea markets for antique knick-knacks or spontaneously busking on busy street corners.
